Walk from
Brixton Wood

Above: Another glorious summer day and the group head off
Left: There were twelve walkers altogether, including a special visitor from New Zealand, Geoff, Peter's old school pal! (Geoff is the one in the light blue shirt and white hat!)
Right and below: I was told that one walker ate all her lunch at the coffee stop and then starved until a kind friend fed her at lunch time! (She can be seen below tethering her dog!)
Above: Canal walking at its best
Left: A pub stop by the locks
Right: Peter and Geoff toast the occasion in the company of Maureen and Reg.
Above: A curious Llama accompanies the group!
Right: Some of the group stop to pose - proof for those back home that Geoff did leave the pub - eventually!!!
Above: "Aren't humans a funny lot?!"
Above, left and below: "If we hang back we could stop off for another?!"
Above and right: The route took the group past a remote church, which was in good condition but hearsay said only had one service a year
